SEXtember and World Sexual Health Day 2026: Every Body deserves access to sexual health information

World Sexual Health Day (4 September) and SEXtember is a time to recognise that sexual health, rights, justice and pleasure belong to Every Body. The 2026 theme highlights the importance of ensuring everyone can access accurate information and safe, judgement free sexual health services.

For multicultural communities, access to clear, culturally appropriate and easy-to-understand information is an important part of supporting sexual health and wellbeing. This SEXtember and World Sexual Health Day, NSW MHAHS proudly promotes accessible multilingual resources to help empower multicultural communities to take charge of their sexual health.

The new MHAHS website provides a range of sexual health information and resources in multiple languages. These resources are designed for individuals, health professionals, community organisations and community workers to support conversations about sexual health and connect people with trusted information and services.
